The Dallas Chapter of PayrollOrg is a non-profit 501(c)(3) professional organization of payroll professionals across the Dallas metroplex. The Dallas Chapter is a nationally accredited chapter and one of the premier chapters affiliated with PayrollOrg. Our goals are to increase the payroll professional's skill level through education, support and to gain recognition for payroll as the professional discipline it has become in today's society. The Dallas Chapter has won national recognition and honors including the prestigious "Chapter of the Year" award in 1990, 2004, 2011, and 2024.

After more than 40 years of serving as the leader in payroll education, publications, and training, the American payroll Association and the Global Payroll Management Institute (founded in 2015) combined to become PayrollOrg (PAYO). This change went into effect on May 2, 2023, to better represent our borderless global community of payroll leaders. PAYO is the payroll industry leader in education, publications, and networking, helping its constituents grow their leadership practices and stay on the cutting edge of payroll industry standards. Stock Up for Summer: Back-to-School Snack Pack Drive
Date: Saturday, August 8

Location: Wilkinson Center Food Pantry, 3402 N. Buckner Blvd., Suite 302, Dallas, TX 75228
Event Overview:
Summer can be a difficult time for many Dallas families who rely on school meal programs to help meet their children's nutritional needs. Our Stock Up for Summer initiative was created to help bridge that gap by providing children with nutritious snacks throughout the summer months.
With the support of our community, we collect kid-friendly snacks and pantry items and invite volunteers and community partners to assemble snack packs for local children. These snack packs are available from May 1 through August 31, helping ensure that kids have access to food while school is out of session.
Suggested Items for Each Snack Pack
(These are simply recommendations and can be adjusted to fit your budget. We suggest including around six items per bag.)
  • 1 box of macaroni and cheese
  • 1 jar of peanut butter
  • 1 plastic jar of jelly
  • 1 package of cheese crackers
  • 1 package of fruit chews or a fruit cup
  • 1 single-serving cereal box or cereal bowl
  • Microwave popcorn
  • Children's learning materials (optional), such as:
    • Colored pencils
    • Crossword puzzles
    • Sudoku books
    • Times tables practice sheets
    • Brain teaser activities
For the bags, we would love to use clear plastic backpacks if possible. If that isn't an option, 1-gallon clear Ziploc bags or any sealable bag large enough to hold the items would work perfectly.
